Family Trip to HB Dog Beach

We took Patches to the dog beach today and he loved it...as for Cesar, Liam and I we could have loved it if it wasn't for the big tide that came in and literally came up to my waist. And oh yeah I was in jeans and my ugg boots! Thankfully I was ok, Liam who was in the bjorn with me was ok and Cesar ok too...except the water did come up to his knees and wet his favorite shoes! Ah well...that will teach us to turn our backs on the ocean...but we made the most out of it and stayed so that Patches can enjoy himself!

7 months....7 months! I can't believe it! My son is 7 months! So here is what's up with Liam...he totally sits up by and is perfectly steady....he is fully fledged into eating solids...aka...baby food. I found out that he loves sweet potatoe, carrots, applesauce, and squash, and green beans....he really doesn't like bananas or peas. He is still teething...no teeth have popped out yet...he really likes to chomp on those teether biscuits from Gerber....and hmmm he is now in size 3 diapers..whoah what a big boy. Oh yeah he is not crawling yet....although it seems liek he wants to but is not sure how to get his little knees up. Cesar and I think that he will probably skip the crawling and go straight to walking...hopefully...I dunno. As far as little accidents go...well he has bumped his head twice on the hardwood floors...but was ok after...it was totally self inflicted...he rolled over off his carpet in his room and landed on the floor. Luckily there was no bump or bruise. And he has kind of had food go down the wrong tube like twice...totally gave mom a scare...but he was a champ and carried on. Yuo my little boy is getting older, cuter and so much funnier. I hate to say it becasue it is so cliche...but its true you can not love anything more than your own kid. I love you Liam!

Day at the Park

It was such a nice day outside that Cesar and I decided to hang out at the park for a little bit. we packed our lunch (really a first) got some blankets and sat out at the park for a while. Liam actualyy really loved it becasue he could roll around this way and that and really go anywhere he wanted to. Plus we loved just holding him up like a little superman and making him laugh too. But the most fun I think was when we put Liam in the swing. OMG! He couldn't have been happier. he loved the swing and Mommy and Daddy both pushing him. This is definitely something we'll have to do liek every day of the week!

Days off and Disneyland...

What a good helper Kylie is...she is need of a sibling Megs!

After New years..I had a whole week off from work...so since I had a disneyland pass and it was good in january...I decided to take Liam a couple of time to good ol' Disneyland! One of the days I met up with Meygan and Kylie andwe had a great time together :) Kylie loved meeting and seeing some of the characters and Liam wasn't at all freaked out by any of them either. I t was good times...plus meygan got some really good shots of Liam being all happy and such!

2010 is here!!

So to ring in our New Year with our new addition to the family...we decided to go and hang otu with some friend during the evening then just coming home to ring in the new year with just us...us 3! So we met up with our friends Rosh and Rachel, Alissa and Kyle, and some of our other friends at PF Changs. Liam was such a good boy...he really didn't fuss at all.anyway we has a great time eating and laughing and drinking some yummy wine. After that Cesar and I headed home to put Liam down to bed and then our very best friends Meygan and Casey came over to ring in the new year with us. It was good to spend the night with them two...even though Casey was a little bit sick. It is definitely going to be a great year! 2010 is the year for all of us...i just can't wait for all the things Liam will be doing this year!
