Ugh the weather is so unbearable this whole week...it is so hard to keep an infant happy when it is so unbelieveably hot outside. So to keep Liam cool and content Cesar and I have opted to take Liam a bath either every other day or every day so he can sleep at night and just be a happy baby. And Liam does love getting wet!

I pulled out Liam's tummy time mat so that he can have some fun while on his tummy. He like it for a little bit but I think he is still too young to be on it...ah well. Also on Saturday Liam finally got to meet his auntie Melissa...who's back by the way from a very long hiatus. Love you Melissa!

Lunch with the Reyes'

After a great day of walking around and shopping with Meygan and Kylie at Southcoast Plaza..I met up with my sister and her kids Amber and Nicholas to eat some lunch at the Rainforest Cafe! Yea probably not going to eat there ever again because first it was way too loud in there and second the food and service sucks!!! But Liam had a great time looking all around at all the colors.

Ok so when Liam gets older he is totally going to hate me for doing this to him when he was a baby...but I was bored one day and decided to try on some of his hats on him! It was so funny...the beanie that he wore the day he came out of me totally doesn't fit him any more!

My co-worker and friend Jessica is having a little girl in early October. They threw a baby shower for her today in Seal Beach and let me jsut say it was hot! The weather that is! The baby shower was fun and it was good to see people from work on a non work day! We had lunch and played games ( my favorite) and then Jessica opened up her gifts. I got really crafty the week of the shower and made Jessica a diaper cake...it actually came out pretty good! Anyways, Liam also loved being man handled by all the beautiful women at the shower. He especially took a liking to my co-worker Becky!!

Liam is two months!

Liam is officially two months today! Yea! Liam has now discovered his hands...a thing that he loves, but I can't say the same for Mommy and Daddy....becasue now his little hands come out all full of drool...but it is cute to see him chomping away. Liam is also kicking a lot more and can now kind of focus on the objects and faces all around him. He is also actually holding onto his own toy now...well with a little help from Mommy. We are starting to introduce tummy time more into his schedule, but Liam is not really a big fan of it yet. He is also eating a little bit more now and sleeping a lot more. After a bath and eating 6oz of formula he is out by 10:30 and wakes up at 7am! Which is awesome...cuz now Cesar and I get to have a little more sleep then before. He is fully emerged into the laughing phase...cuz when he's happy he laughs, and giggles, and coo's so much...I think defintely an advancement for being only two months. I just can't believe how fast he is growing...it kind of makes me want to have another baby again just to hold them in that newborn state...but no worries..Cesar and I are not planning to give Liam a little sibling until 4 yrs from now! Happy 2 months Liam!
