Our Weekend of Busy-ness!!!

girls night out in pasadena!

the burns and the castellons!
this is rachel!

so this past weekend i was able to hang out with some of my friends that i haven't seen in the longest. For instance like christina jones...who I hadn't seen in like a year and i totally forgot how hilarious she is and how much fun she is to be around. I also got to catch up with erin, christy, and amy. It was so much fun...i seriously hadn't laughed so hard in a while. since we all lived on the same floor at Vanguard...we all have stories to share that all of us will never forget...awww remembering the ol' days is so much fun especially when you're around people that are so darn funny!

then on saturday Cesar and I went apartment hunting / house hunting and let me tell you it was not fun! It seriously is so frusturating to find a decent place to rent that has everything that you need and at a decent price! But luckily we cam upon a great place in long beach...which is a little out of the way for me especially when i have to drive to glendale to go to work...but i think it can work. It's a two story condo that has two bedrooms upstairs, 2 and a half bathrooms ( two full ones upsatirs and the half downstairs) a patio, a big washer and a dryer and hardwood floors and everything! OMG it's so nice...and cesar and i both liked it. So hopefully the people that are renting it out will let us rent it out for a good price. we have actually met with them several times and they seem to like us and we like them so we'll see. But hopefully they'll decide soon cuz we need to let the complex know were moving out. So everyone pray that we find what we're looking for...especially with the new baby on the way...yup this place would be awesome to live in. But we're not going to worry too much about it...we both know that God is going to provide, like he always does, and give us the greatest blessing of all. prayer works people!

but after Cesar and I got done with all of that we went to a wedding at our alma mater Vanguard! It was my friend rachel's wedding...who i knew at vanguard. We actually got internships at the same place together...KTLA..woohoo! It was so much fun to carpool together over at KTLA and experience something totally amazing with another vanguardian. but the best part about the wedding...and cesar will tell you...was the IN and OUT truck! OMG...when cesar saw that truck in the parking lot of the school his face just totally lit up...it was the funniest thing in the world. i think he was just happy that he didn't have to eat the same ol' boring wedding food again. But it was a cute wedding and they're a totally cute couple. i hope to hang out with them a bit more now that they're married!
so our weekend ended with a bbq at cesar's mom's house for the celebration of out preganancy! I guess you would call it a pre baby shower or a pregnancy shower...i don't know...but it was cool to see my family and his family there getting along and celebrating together.... i thought the only time i was going to see that was at our wedding!!! I guess babies do bring famalies closer. So there was tons of food and lots of questions of how i'm feeling...but to be honest i really don't feel much difference yet. I mean my jeans still fit...so i guess that's a good thing and i haven't had any morning sickness yet (which will probably come in the next couple of weeks) but i do feel bloated all the time...so i don't know if that's a side effect of the first couple of weeks of being preganant...but i guess i'll find out about it this week at the doctors! it's so funny though i am now seeing myself in a totally different way...and to be honest it's kind of making me upset because i know my body is changing and i think becasue i know that it's changing my confidence is a bit low....and i'm a pretty confident person...so this feeling is totally awkward. But i guess everyone goes through that right? Maybe i'll just go buy some new clothes and shoes...that always seems to boost my confidence level :)
